Metal Gear Solid is a game about not knowing anything about genetics and then making a lot of very important decisions based on not knowing anything about genetics.

Sometimes I wish I had actually played some of these games... but then I remember I can just check every other week for a rundown on what I missed. :P

Strangely enough, needing Big Boss's body for his DNA is kinda correct, as the cloning process wouldn't produce an exact genetic match due to mutation, not to mention stuff like the mitochrondial DNA and the genetic alterations performed.

I love all the expressions in the first panel, including Raven chilling out of it (I'm sure Mantis is great too).
I also love how boisterous Liquid is, just like I remember him.
<3

'Course I mostly remember these characters from Last Days Of Foxhound but still. Heh, I was so amazed when I played Twin Snakes and the characters were somehow way more outlandish in-game. KOJIMA!!

That's Decoy Octopus ;) As for where he is, maybe he's disguised as the background or something :P

I love Ocelot's face, I think he doesn't want to be there.

yeah, but he's a MODIFIED clone of Big Boss. In fact, one that was designed to suddenly age in a few years. I personally wouldn't want to accidentally pick up that genetic trait.

Also, wasn't it revealed in MGS4 that his remains were actually being used to signal some device?

The trick is that Octopus's dialog boxes have white background.

I demand one billion dollars or I'll lecture you on how rodents can find exits.

He also believes he has all of the recessive genes while his BROTHER has all the dominant ones. And has a real inferiority complex over it.
