What, I'm the first one to put up the topic? The comic's been posted for a while.

Case 3 is SUPER guilty of this. I was probably slow figuring out who it was but still had to sit there and wait...and wait...

That case also made me really uncomfortable when I thought we were outing the guy in a brace. Turns out he was a female cross-dresser, but somehow that didn't make me feel better about it.

I'm always bugged by the first bit, i.e. NOT BEING ABLE TO SOLVE THE CASE WHEN IT'S OBVIOUS. In theory, you've got all the evidence and testimony you need towards the first third of the case on the last day, but you can't make any valid accusations until the drama's played out.

CAAAAAPCOOOOMM!!!! :shakefist:

I didn't even know there was a new Ace Attorney out. :psyduck:
It doesn't sound like its worth getting a 3ds for just it though.

I dunno, if that's supposed to be a Cockney accent, shouldn't he be technically described as a "teddy boy"? (For those of you who don't know, that's the UK equivalent of a greaser.)

I've been struggling with this since the very first game. The description on a gun said it was fired three times, but it was repeatedly mentioned that two gunshots were heard. I kept getting penalties for trying to use the gun as evidence in relation to mentions of two gunshots.

Quick quiz, how many of you played the third case of dual destinies, and how many of you knew who it was the entire time?

And did Apollo eat his hamburger since the last PW comic? This is vital testimony.

I felt a similar (though not this bad I guess) way with Zelda: Twilight Princess. I remember playing Ocarina of Time and just being confused at how to beat the levels, and only after considering my options and using my head did I figure out what I had to do next. Sure, there was always Navi, but you didnt have to push that button. Midna in TP though will always pop out of nowhere randomly and hand feed you the answers, really ruined the game for me. I eventually just started closing my eyes when the screen blinked dark and pushed the continue button, but come on.

That analogy with the turtles sent me into a fit of giggles

I think more videogame reviewers should use the turtle system. It seems to be quite effective

Super spoilers:

Figured it was what's-his-face teacher guy as soon as he appeared cause he was super creepy with his creep smile and touting his DARK AGE OF THE LAW bullshit, but then they tried SO HARD to pin the murder on Hugh and it focused on anime teen high school drama so much with almost no mention of creep teach for so long so I was kinda like, "okay, guess maybe this guy did it." but then the day was saved with the power of friendship. Anyway, the whole thing felt like they didn't have enough material to make a decent case and just wound up trying to stretch it out with the misdirection.

See, the problem I have is that when I actually do get stuck on something they don't give me any hints, but when the answer is incredibly obvious they're just throwing the clues in my face.

And yeah, it was fairly obvious that Professor Means wasn't a good guy, but I didn't peg him as the killer right off the bat. Maybe I'm just thick.
