She supposedly updates on Mondays, but I think she uploads the comics the night before so people can check Monday morning and see it as opposed to updating in the middle of the day, so I usually see the comics just before going to bed on Sunday.

it appears Midnight her time, the moment it changes to Monday.
She moved a few timezones backwards, though, so it comes up a couple hours earlier than it used to.

She updates at midnight EDT on Sundays. Which means at the very beginning of Monday.

I usually post around nine or ten Sunday night now, actually. I didn't switch timezones (seriously, I thought I was bad at maps), I just go to bed earlier because I have to get up before the sun does.

The rope only holds down for so long. Eventually the villagers revolt and break the rope and the sun continues on.

So then I kill the person who broke the rope, and no one broke it again.

I had an idea for an edit, but I don't have the necessary skills to... edit it.
But I hope you guys like it and someone makes it.
It starts with Katie drawing Shepard and there's the "I tend to subconsciously make the same expression as whatever I'm drawing".
And then she subconsciously punches herself in the face while drawing Shepard's bleeding nose.
