When I saw it, I thought of Kirby.. when you get the special item that makes you spew out fire in the game.

I believe it was called the "superspicey curry".

It also made an appearance as an item in Brawl.

It's really fun to draw similarities between Sakurai's games.

Kirby games: platformer with gratuitous jumping ability, and levels are seperated into pieces by doors. Also, the use of ladders is completely pointless. Subspace Emmissary, anyone?

The Challenges section of Brawl was obviously inspired by Kirby's Air Ride, which, in return, took influences from SSBM. WOAH.

I thought I was the only one who noticed. :/

Except while KAR had all four boxes surrounding the opened box give us the hints, SSBB just had the two boxes on the sides reveal their secrets.

...

Also, the purple boxes in KAR and Golden Hammers in Brawl...

How many of you used those to open up boxes that had to be opened up by doing some hard task (for example, finishing All-Star on Insane), and then later, you manage to actually do that task, and then there's two or three tasks left on the Checklist/Challenge List which you can't seem to do and wish you had the purple boxes/Golden Hammers to unlock those?

Yeah... I did. :<

The expression on Link's face in the first panel is the single greatest achievement ever to grace mankind. I don't know what it is about it, but it's just so...expressive. :awesome:
