Yeah, I know that font can really make a difference.
I think there's something about Helvetica that makes it an unwise choice for a comic font, but I don't know much about typography so I'm not sure what it is. So long as it's readable, though, I think it's okay for now. The best fonts are those you have to pay for, anyway, annnnd screw that.

Blambot has lots of awesome free fonts. There are only a few pay fonts, and none of them are really must haves.[/url]

Yeah, the only thing I can think of is backgrounds...and that's been said to death and back again...action lines maybe...but they kinda fit style, so that's hard to say.

DaFont.com is what I usually use for fonts; the categories should let you narrow down the selection to fonts made for comics, I think.


Personally, I love the backgrounds. The simplicity is cool in itself, and doesn't keep attention from the actual comic.
