This is what bothers me the most about fantasy games, services in real life would never go that far out of their way for you and then charge you a reasonable fee.

In this case we are talking about 20 rupees for a lifetime service most travelers don't use and those who do will pay, what, 4 times in their life?
This isn't reasonable, this is outrageously cheap, not even enough to pay a single meal.

And you can always find another horse within a few minutes. This game should have you look for horse if you want to travel instead of always using the same one.

I always wondered how this specific system stayed afloat financially. I mean, the environmental potions and traveling expenses for retrieving horses alone...

At the very least, there should be some absurdly wealthy NPC who just loves horses that much sponsoring them. Like maybe that guy who threw cheddar at Link just to see him fight a guardian for fun. I suspected Malanya but reviving horses doesn't even cost cheddar.

Please, you can get a horse anywhere if you try hard enough. Hell, you can probably ride a lynel or a guardian up there if you have the time and patience.

I want to try getting a horse over there into the volcano now, just because. This is probably why I haven't even been to see Impa yet.

I was pretty disappointed when I tamed an elk and rode it to a stable only to find out that the stable owner wouldn't register it because "that's not a horse." At least I didn't try it with something difficult like a Lynel or Guardian(which I wouldn't have tried anyway). But it was a long trek back so I let it loose in the stables. It's their own fault.

I'm still hoping Fang and Bone opens up a stable to house big monsters

You can't ride a lynel to places, mounting them only allows you to attack them in place for a moment
