AWKWARD ZOMBIE

The whole joke is dependent on a lot of strange assumptions.

That these Goombas can't leave the planet by whatever method they used to arrive there in the first place.
That the coconut won't just respawn as soon as Mario leaves.

The goomba is a native of the planet, its family has lived there for 40 generations. The coconut too. They've been continually planting and harvesting coconut trees for centuries. There's no tree because the goomba recently replanted the tree after cutting it down to make shoes. It was planning on eating that coconut for the next few months while the tree regrew.

In other news, that might be the first time I've ever liked a long neck caesar edit. A+.

Excuuuuuse me but if some colorful dinosaurs were eating all of your friends, wouldn't you as well grab the next best pointy thing you can find and stab at them dinosaurs? Wouldn't you try to defent your family against the great evil?

On that note, who's the villian in Wooly World? I've yet to play the game, but this does bring up something interesting. If the villian is really that much of a bad guy, does that make Yoshi's actions just for eating all those soldiers who are just doing their job? Also, what do you know about the lives the soldiers live. They could have an actual occupation, family, and dreams. Could the reason they're part of the army be that they were drafted, or they were threatened into it?

To be more precise, the game itself is part of the Yoshi's Island series, as despite no baby and the added wool mechanics, it plays exactly the same. I mean, it's a spiritual spin-off of Yoshi's Island I suppose as it's clearly not in any specific Mario canon. But it might as well be a sequel.

Though one thing I find dark about it... is that Kamek kidnaps the Yoshis to dissemble them to use their yarn to build a new wing for Baby Bowser's castle... which is the equivalent of building it out of literal flesh! Seriously, despite being wool, that feels so WRONG!

I always felt bad about hurting the Waddle Dees is Kirby's Epic Yarn too. Doesn't help that they are so adorable. Haven't played the Yoshi's Wooly World so I haven't been able to experience that guilt trip.

I had to scroll back up to remind myself what this thread was about because the entire topic went to Yoshi in seconds.
