Every time I played Nightfire with a friend I made them play stupid matches like tripmines or guided rockets only.
Fun fact: if you put a tripmine on one side of a sliding door and someone goes through it on the other side, the laser moves with the door and violently explodes behind them upon entering the room when the door closes with basically no warning.
I always played that game mode where I'd just set my traps, wait on the other side, and watch as people see me, get excited, and then sprint into one of my mines. It's also ridiculously gratifying to sit in a corner of the map and listen for the explosions.
