You guys should pay attention to this website. It's pretty awesome.

First of all is the comic. We decided after much debate that the comic is vulgar about 50% of the time (based on exit polls), but either way, it seems to me like a comic centered around video games that has a sense of humor in the same vein as Perry Bible Fellowship, so if you're suffering withdrawls, read it.

There are usually positive reviews, which are nice to see once in a while, and short "haiku reviews" that sum up a game or how a reviewer felt about a game in seventeen syllables. Classy!

Among the regular articles on the site is Trouserful of Melody, a neat place to find hipster video game music. I've been looking through it today, and already I'm worried I might fill up my iPod with nerd music.

So yeah. Eegra Eegra Eegra.

Thank you for including that so this thread doesn't turn into a retarded shit fuck like the other one.

I love vulgarity, it sounds like this would be right up my alley! :awesome:

I actually read through the entire thing earlier today. Fascinating, to say the least. Definitely quite vulgar, but also rather nonsensical most of the time. There's a good deal of shock-humor to be had.

Long story short, I give it two thumbs up.

I think it's... okay. Kind of like Playboy, if you ignore all the nakedness, you get some quite clever and mature articles.

Not that i have read Playboy. I'm serious.

Eegra is the kind of webcomic that makes me go, "Oh, hey, this looks like it could be pretty funny," as I begin to read each comic, but it quickly turns into, "Oh, hey, why did it have to turn into some dumb crude humour joke? It was doing fine until now..."

It just doesn't appeal to me.

I'm not quite sure what you're implying, but my point was that Eegra comics tend to start out fine, and then end with random and unnecessary crude humour. Take the Ice Cream comic, for example. The top half was good, especially when it got to "video game flavour". It's an absurd, random, and geeky kind of joke that I can enjoy. Even the picture below it was fine, but then the guy starts jacking off with the ice cream, and I can't help but wonder how the author thought that could ever lead into something funny/amusing.

Like I said before, crude humour doesn't appeal to me, and perhaps other people can get something out of this that I can't. Good for them. I'll just read other stuff instead.

I'm implying it sounds like you said you read each comic, even though you don't like it.

Yes, I have read each comic from Eegra, but that doesn't mean I enjoyed all of them. Plus, it's not fair to judge a webcomic if you only read a small sample of the strips, right? While a particular webcomic might seem to suck now, it could have been great early on, or vise-versa. That, and there really aren't too many strips that one has to read from there; it was easy to blast through them in a good half and hour.
