I recently picked up three comics, all written by a Scandinavian man called Jason. The comics are Why Are You Doing This?, The Left Bank Gang, and Meow, Baby! I've so far read the first two. They are stunning. Jason is my new favorite comic writer.

His minimalistic approach is a breath of fresh air in medium consumed by overly contextualized narratives and busy color pallets. Why Are You Doing This? is an understated, yet riveting psychological thriller, the likes of a Hanake or Hitchcock film. The Left Bank Gang is a heist gone wrong that combines the styles of Hemingway and Tarantino brilliantly. Seriously, buy these comics.

I checked them out on Amazon. They look pretty cool, but probably not something I'd be into.

It's something everyone should be into :shakefist:

Also, I just finished Meow, Baby! which is a collection of short comedy strips as opposed to the other two which were thrillers. It was hilarious. And had Zombies, and Elvis fighting Godzilla, and Mummies with boners.
