Does anyone here read the twice-yearly comics anthology Flight besides me? It's a bunch of awesome, original strips and mini-comics by prolific webcomic makers, artists, and graphic novelists. The anthology is edited by Kazu Kibuishi, the artist who makes the insanely awesome webcomic Copper. I have volumes one-three, and they are fantastic. My favorite is volume two because of the Don Hertzfeldt comic. He's the guy who made the short animated film Rejected, and the Jeff Smith comics because I'm a hopeless Bone fanboy :science:

Anyway, I'm getting volume four next week. Flight is a really great way for readers to get introduced to webcomic-ers. I just thought it might be relevant, seeing as Katie draws and writes a comic *wink* and maybe *wink* she could try to submit some sort of *wink* work to Kazu to try to get into the *wink* anthology, etc.

I did, but it kinda got away from after the second volume. That's something that regret.

Translation:
I used to read Flight, but no longer. I would once partake in browsing through volumes one and two, but I broke my habit some time after the second volume was released. I do sorely regret that decision.

Oh, alright. Volume three was the most professionally done. And I you can get it new on Amazon for $25, and used for $14.

I actually just recently heard of Flight Comics, and I haven't been in a book store in a while, so yeah. But Copper is absolutely fantastic. I love the one with the bubbles.

I read volume one in a bookstore and I liked it.

If only the inside was as amazing as the covers....

I'm a broke college student, so making purchases isn't one of my options. I just had to pay $200 on a phone bill ;-;
