It's basically a way for Potterheads to experience the Harry Potter series further. From what I gather it's like an in-depth behind the scenes type deal.

Good to see Slytherin are being forced to be bad guys rather than trying to do something novel like show that there can be good Slytherins too.

That was one of my biggest complaints against the books where being Slytherin pretty much automatically meant the character was going to be an evil asshole.

Oh nono, he also said that not all Slytherins are evil and stuff and that even fucking MERLIN was a Slytherin. But he was pretty hard badmouthing the other houses.

oh geez, i got mine in alpha months back, i'll need to look through my emails to see what my username and password is. From what I remember it's something like StrongSword and I think I'm in Ravenclaw, or Slytherin.

Well, aren't Slytherins usually considered assholes because their whole reason for being there is that they're cunning and ambitious at the expense of others?

If one of the requirements of being in that house is looking out for number 1 (and being mostly pure-blooded, which carries a sense of self-pride in wizards), I'd say that there's a pretty good chance the majority of people in that house are assholes, whether they mean to be or not.

Slytherins are smart and they look out for each other as well as striving for an ambiguous "Greatness" that the hat found in them. Yes, even Crabbe and Goyle had some sort of greatness, just no one the hell knows what it is.
Different from those Ravenclaws who step on each other to be better than the others.

Blood purity isn't important (anymore) he even mentioned that there's quite some people in slytherin who have muggle parents.
And well, they're overconfident. Mostly because they're like some sort of fraternity without the booze and drugs.

I wouldn't have expected to land there, but the hat said I was there, so here I am.
