A: Mafia is a game that can be played in a group or online in which a group of townsfolk (the good guys) try to discover and root out the Mafia and any other threats that may be hiding amongst them.
Q: How is Mafia played?
A: A game of Mafia alternates between day and night cycles. During the day the town (along with the Mafia pretending to be townspeople) vote by majority to lynch someone, hoping to kill the Mafia members in this fashion. During the night discussion is halted and the Mafia choose someone to kill. After this the next day begins and the game continues until either the Mafia have control of the town or the townspeople have killed every Mafia member. Miller - No night actions; appears to himself as a villager; if lynched, will show up as a vanilla mafia
Agent - Can send anonymous messages to any mafia-sided role, at any time; if there is more than one of one role, every person in that role will relieve the message
Oracle - Can select one person every night: if the oracle dies that night or the following day, that person's role will be revealed
Town Crier - Can send anonymous messages to the entire town during the day.
Mortician - Can reveal one dead person's role every night
Lightkeeper - Has no night actions. If they die, all votes are anonymous the following day (PM your votes to me)
MafiaVanilla - Participates in the mafia meeting
Spy - Can send anonymous messages to any role at any time; if there is more than one of one role, every person in that role will receive the message
Paparazzi - Can select one person every night: if the paparazzi dies that night or the following day, that person's role will be revealed
Third PartyLover - Has a person chosen for them at the beginning of the game; wins if the chosen person wins; dies if the chosen person dies. If the lover dies, the chosen person dies.
Amnesiac - Once a game, can become the role of one person from the graveyard
Survivor - Only wins if they survive til the end of the game.
