I'm part of Darkin's D&D session online that isn't going anywhere fast. I've never played in real life though.

Played it a few semesters ago with a few friends. We formed a traveling band of rogues that's entire goal revolved around selling their cart full of "Whaler on the Moon" ale.

They abducted and sold my first character into slavery.

So I made another.

As long as you're not the other kind of bankrupt, it's cool.

One session I was in a few years ago involved an incident with animated chains and an overly-amorous hostage, and I will say no more.

I'm doing a Fallout PnP with some friends on another forum. Fairly new to the whole role play thing otherwise.

DnD 4e every Friday over Skype/Gametable.

I play a human paladin of Erathis who is kind of racist against fey. He believes humans are superiors, doesn't miss a chance to insult one, and is just brusque in general when talking to them. Which is hilarious because he's got a CHA of 18 (using a variation that allows CHA to be used for attacks instead of STR) and a Diplomacy of 9 but he still manages to piss everyone off when he lays into a fey they like.

What make him fun is that two of his party members are fey and he has a teensy little curse put on him by an Eradrin noble of the Winter Court because he refused to help her when she was disguised as an old woman by the road (he saw through the trick). Nothing too major except now when he insults a fey he loses an inch or so of height...and humanity. Yep, the curse is slowly making him into a fey, starting with half-elf and then all the way down to pint-size pixie because I find the idea of a shoe-sized holy warrior acting as a tank hilarious.

Currently he's only a few inches shorter, but we've only had two sessions so far so that's going to change soon enough.

Played a small variety of PnP games since starting college. DnD 3.5, L5R, and a homebrewed version of Final Fantasy based on the L5R system were probably my favorites. Most memorable moment was probably when my Water Shugenja (L5R's mages) decided to try to save a town from an avalanche by splitting it, more or less.

I'm part of a D&D group that Scoot got me into. It was originally affiliated with his school but isn't anymore.

But yeah we play a few different tabletops, mostly D&D 3.5e but we've ran a few campaigns of other stuff like Cold City, tWoD and the Homestuck conversion of Gamma World.

I play with some friends just about every sunday. Right now our DM is putting us through a dungeon land campaign I have lost all clothes and due to a pretty bad crafting check for pants go by the name of flower crotch.

I've been playing D&D 3.5 for about 6-ish years now, with regular gaming sessions happening at least every friday night.

Over the years I've picked up a few other games, and I'm always looking to try new ones. Right now I have D&D 3.X, D&D 4e, some AD&D, some AD&D 2nd edition, Exalted 1e, tWoD, Cold City, RIFTS ultimate, some GURPS, and Maid RPG. I've also tried the Homestuck Beta Conversion, I've tried a Pokemon RPG, and I'm currently playtesting D&D Next (AKA D&D 5e).

I've tried to play a few online games in the past, but I have a nasty habit of forgetting that they exist, and then being too embarrassed to go back to them after I remember.

They've always been pbp though, I've never actually tried an IRC/IM game.

So if you want to give me a shot, I'd be up for playing something if you get a group going here.

Here's the party I play with on Fridays from that campaign summarized.

Rindle, Human Paladin - Manages to piss off nearly everyone he talks to despite having a CHA of 18 and Diplomacy of 9. Every time he insults a fey he loses an inch or so, and considering one party member is half-fey and one is disguised as a fey...

Kyara, Deva Cleric - Likes to insult Rindle and blames him for everything, including constantly missing with her magic attacks. Only be afraid if she's pointing in the complete opposite direction of you.

Miwen, Changeling...Rogue I think? - The only really effective member of the party, she claims to be a farmhand as she dices up enemies into chunks with a kusari-gama. Party believes this because they are morons and she has an astronomical Bluff score.

Khorik, Dragonborn Fighter - Misses slightly less than Kyara but always does the least amount of damage possible. Got his Acidic Bolstering Breath and vomiting confused on one occasion, much to Rindle's displeasure.

Handel, Half-Elf Bard - Pathetic Perception score equals her thinking trees are enemies. Amusingly she hits more often than Kyara and Khorik combined. Highlight is causing a kobold to commit seppuku by insulting it.

Eclipse, Warforged Wizard - Not much known about him yet, as he just joined the party. Frequently takes to the air when Kyara and Handel express their desire to ride him like a mechanical pony.

Pretty much all of my DnD characters are chickens.
