Three weeks ago you received an mysterious invitation. Coordinates to a long forgotten island and a simple message:
"Are you the best?"
and of course the promise of a massive fortune at stake.

Before you lies the tropical island of Isla Del Guerrero.
Caught in a bitter tug of war between the U.S. and Japan during W.W.II, it has long since been abandoned.
Once more it shall be the arena of epic combat.

Among the shattered hulks of armor, on the burning sands, and in the deepest jungles
hundreds of combatants from all over the globe are racing towards the ultimate showdown atop the island's misty mountaintop fortress.

So ask yourselves my fellows, do you have what it takes to be the best?



CHARACTER SHEET

-Name (Go Nuts)
-Fighting Style (Any sort of fightin' style's fine, Boxing, Eskrima, Pankration, make one up if you want, but be specific.Weapons are okay too,
but your stats'll take a hit depending on the weapon,I.E. If you wield a Claymore you get a boost in strength,
but say bye bye to most of your dexterity.)
-Appearance/Backstory (Go nuts, may have an effect on combat, like if you bathe in patchouli oil you'd do better against a grappler due to the stank.)
-Theme (Why not.)
-Entrance (How you get to the island, plane, sky diving, ship, whatever.
There are 5 different paths with three different stages each. Your entrance chooses which one you start on.)

You have twenty points to spend on your stats

Strength (General beefiness)
Speed (How fast you are)
Dexterity (How dexterous you are, affects how stealthy you are too.)

We'll be using random.org as d20s for actions, you'll roll when I tell you to and post a screencap of the lil' box or just type it.

-Supers (Make up and describe two super moves, one super and one Ultra,
everybody has a super bar that fills up with every trap dodged, every punch landed and danger conquered.
One point for danger averted or a punch landed, two for more serious traps n' blows, and three for defeating an opponent.
Ten points for a super and twenty for an ultra.
you'll get special chances to use them during a fight, a super ensures a hit,
and an ultra knocks out your opponent immediately)



Inspired by all of y'all's great RPs I've decided to try my hand at a Fighting Game styled RP. This is my first RP so I'm basing it off of Madican's until I get up to speed.
We start tomorrow, first come first serve. Your turn is over if you get knocked out or if you reach the end of the stage, if you get knocked out it's game over for you.
If enough people make it to the fortress we'll have a PvP tournament to decide the champ. So, any challengers?

-Appearance/Backstory: String bean body frame. Brown hair, Hawaiian shirt and jeans, fedora, sneakers. Very well off con man, stole his invitation from a *ahem* deceased participant. Lawful Evil.

Super: Blackjack - Running cheap shot with improvised blunt object, varying from lead pipe, to tree branch, to some poor sap's severed limb.
Ultra: Royal Flush - 'Magical' flying dirt to target's face, followed by a merciless onslaught of cheap, dirty, illegal, and all-around not cool punches and kicks, all topped off with stab aimed at the target's heart.

Super: Sends in his bear, Art, to viciously maul his opponent.
Ultra: Doubles in size(a la dr mcninja) and beats the snot out of his enemy. One of the few times he doesn't use his beloved axes to attack.

Name - Jason "Thunder" Calhoun

Fighting Style - Defensive-Judo, Offensive-Boxing/Wrestling, Mk. 1 trench knife on the right hand

Appearance/Backstory - 6' 10", 285 lbs., curly black hair, trains vigorously but rests an entire day before a fight, very serious anger management problems. Wears desert camouflage pants, combat boots, and no shirt.

A former Air Corps colonel during World War I, Thunder's ruthless dogfighting tactics got him dishonorably discharged. He spent the rest of his years in underground fighting rings, armed only with his trusted trench knives. One day, in broad daylight, Thunder just disappeared. From his perspective, the entire world seemed to turn to blinding light, and when he opened his eyes again, he was in a small room with a man staring at his watch. The man looked up at Thunder, said "Right on time," and got up to leave. He left behind an envelope on the table separating him from Thunder, which contained an invitation.

Theme - Rising Force by Yngwie Malmsteen

Super Move - A kick to the knee; when the opponent is doubled over, grab the hair with one hand and wrap the other arm around the torso, pick up and throw backwards.
Ultra Move - Using the trench knife: a punch to the face, followed with a quick slash, then bury the knife in the side of the neck, all with the opponent just standing still, then slowly falling afterward.

They don't have to be. Think fighting games, fireballs, physiscs defying throws and anything else is fair game unless I say otherwise.

I mean, it could be an attack that should be lethal, but since this is a game, everyone is totally fine afterwards, right?

Short of any sort of actual dismemberment, yeah.

Thanks to an accident involving...something that causes mutations, I can transform into whatever the hell I please. If I change into an animal, I can understand animals of the same species

Fighting Style: Relies on alien weaponry, such as a ray gun, a disintegrator ray, a stun baton, grenades, laser machinegun, etc
Appearance: A Grey with a silvery spacesuit and a space helmet, along with a fake mustache. Sent to Earth to study the local wildlife, but due to a holoscreen glitch it came out as Destroy Local Wildlife. Uses the fake mustache as a disguise of sorts, and for some reason it usually works.
Theme: Desimal - Zero Searcher
Entrance: Totally-Not-An-Alien-Teleporting-Device

Lv 1: Stuns target using stun baton and uses laser chaingun to blast away at stunned target
Lv 2: Throws down targeting beacon and uses holoscreen to call in a Death Ray strike on target.
