AWKWARD ZOMBIE

As many of you know, Toonami aired on Adult Swim Sunday, April 1st, 2012 after The Room's opening credits began to air. Many passed this off as one of Adult Swim's extravagant April Fool's jokes (like when they put moustaches on every character, or when they aired the Aqua Team Hunger Force movie in the corner without sound.) However, many fans are convinced that Toonami is alive, and are rampaging in glee through every corner of the Internet. Their hoping and pleading is only exacervated by this Twitter post made by Adult Swim. What do you guys think?

Seeing how Adult Swim's forums also have a Toonami board now, they're seriously considering it. However, if it does return, it can go one of two ways. Either their entire current anime lineup, sans Bleach, will be eradicated for the old Toonami lineup or the lineup can stay the same but the Toonami bumps and such will be there. I like Trigun and Outlaw Star as much as the next guy, but if they take away my Cowboy Bebop, Clannad and GitS, we have a problem.

The ATHF movie gag was just hilarious.

I honestly like Adult swim more than CN because its shows are actually enjoyable. If this happens i will fart.

I would love it if AS got Toonami back.
It doesn't have to replace anything, they could just bring back the old and mix it in with the new.

Toonami was the best part of Saturday night for me, hands down. I'll be glad to see a revival.

Toonami was a HUGE deal to me when I was growing up and I would love to see it back on TV again.

Also, I called it. Look back in other threads on April Fool's Day. I so fucking called that this was a litmus test to see if people wanted Toonami back. Someone give me a medal or something.

I think someone said that they got Steve Blum to actually record some new stuff.

I still think that dwelling too much on nostalgia is a bad thing, but I would gladly welcome Toonami back if it brought some new shows with it. I would like for them to show it on weekdays; I need my anime fix, dammit!

I'd probably watch DBZ again if we got some version of Toonami back in the UK.

I can't recall if we even had Toonami back when CN was playing DBZ here.

Awwww man Toonamis back? MIssed that show. I loved watching Sailor Moon, DBZ (I had no idea why I liked it XD ) and Code Lyoko.

Actually tbh I have no idea why I watched them. But I didnt care! Glad to see em back! XD

I dunno if Code Lyoko was on Toonami. I think it first started playing on that retarded Toonami replacement program; Miguzi or whatever the hell it was called.
