Alright then, this is the thread if you have any questions for those from Britain or you want to discuss stuff from there, whether it's politics, spelling, Kate Middleton, etc

Turns out the Yanks don't have a word for "posh" which I found really weird (and kinda shows something about them, lol.)

anyways the best way I could describe the word "posh" is something similar to snooty, but being posh isn't neccesarily a bad thing. Generally if you're posh you'd like, drink a lot of tea, maybe be stuffy, do posh things such as speak like the queen, horse ride etc. Posh clothes would be something like a suit, or an elegant dress.
