But anyways, I've noticed we did not have a thread for card games so I decided to start one up. This is in general discussions because card games =/= vidja. But anyways take your card games discussions here (Be it Magic, Yugioh, Pokemon [Though we do have the pokemon thread for that but idk], Vanguard, Poker, whatever the fuck)

So I've been checking up the upcoming releases for yugioh cards and the like, since that Dragon Structure deck hits us on the 7th and fucking everyone is going to use it because it contains some borked booty shit. But I'm sitting there looking at the Order of Chaos Special edition. Winged Dragon of Ra and Effect Veiler as the 1 of two supers you can get from that set. Obv Ra is shit tier now, but Effect Veiler being a 50% chance to get is going to be annoying as shit.

Then I look in the upcoming Battle Pack: Epic Dawn, fucking Tour Guide, Skull Archfiend AND FUCKING OBELISK as Rares, and nearly all the Monarchs as commons.

What the shit Konami?

Had a great game of MtG today at the college. A friend of mine has a 124 card artifact deck. I forgot my deck so we just split his in half and played.

It ran pretty great too.

In 4th grade, if you had good Pokemon cards, you got all the bitches.

You also had all the bullies steal said cards.

I play Chaos BLS in Yugioh because I am not very original.

Disaster dragon is a favourite deck type of mine, though.

I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh in a awhile, with the weird part being my deck is still in tact and easy to access. I would play it but none of my friends play it anymore, nor do I intend on going out of my way to play (Also my deck was lasted changed about 2 years ago, still with my first card in it, so I'd pretty much lose instantly competitively).

If you can't play in real life, do it online. The whole site is pretty nifty, it has both OCG and TCG exclusive cards, as well as unreleased Japanese cards. I've had lotsa fun with this thing.
