The point of this thread is to create a grand story of epic proportions. If someone makes a troll post we ignore it and continue from the last legitimate post. You must write at least a paragraph, which I define as 2~5 sentences or more, depending on length. Two long, well written sentences are better than 5 short, crappy sentences. Feel free to write more, but keep it reasonable. Other people probably want to participate as well. Don't turn this into a fight over the proper usage of various grammatical faculties; if that happens, then I will force us back on topic. Now, let your imaginations run, and remember to keep the continuity.

It was a pretty normal day in Gjalerskrom; the sky was mildly overcast and the temperature was cool, but not freezing. Baelir Bronzeheim emerged into the highlands and smelled the sweet northern air. It smelled of impending battle, and Victory. He hefted his axe and whistled for his pet grizzly bear, Adelrimm. The large brown bear bounded out from behind the longhouse Baelir lived in and stood by his master's side, letting out a fierce roar. Baelir grinned; this would be a glorious day, indeed.

Just as Baelir was about to leave he noticed something moving in the shade underneath the trees. The forrest was thick in these parts and hardly a soul ever came out here. Occasionally someone from the nearby villages would seek him out for help, but this did not seem to Baelir as a villager.
He could hear branches cracking and bushes rustling. Whatever it was, it was big.

It was big, as big as Adelrimm; the young dragon that came barreling out of the was aimed straight at Baelir.
"Well ain't you pretty," Baelir smirked as he raised his ax for a swing. Just another average, stupid day in Gjalerskrom.

Baelir rolled to the side with a roar of battle, coming to his feet and joining his bear in the charge, rearing his axe back in preparation for a mighty blow. Adelrimm dodged the acidic breath with relative ease, and went straight for the dragon's throat, biting and clawing at its scaly hide, trying to get in between the armor and attack at the flesh. The dragon screamed its lizardy scream and started twisting its head, rising and lowering jerkily to try and fling the bear off, but Adelrimm tenaciously clung to the beast's throat. Growling, the mighty dragon saw Baelir approaching at speed, but before it could beat the large man back, Baelir struck, sinking his axe as far into its chest as the blade would go. The dragon reared its head back into the sky, screaming in agony and releasing a bit of its acidic breath into the sky.
