Artificer. May lose human form but will retain human mind/spirit. No real downside either to using the gifts.

I half wonder if my dimensional wizard I use is an Eidolon either. I see alot of traits expressed in it :/ But thats Roleplay I suppose.

Plus, it doesnt say you HAVE to consume human souls to fuel abilities. I mean, alot of the techniques mentioned in the latter can be achieved without sacrificing someone. Ive read some interesting reads of people with uncontrolled TK caused under duress.
