AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I noticed a lack of a place to talk about animals doing silly things, and the fact that my dog is incredibly silly, and then this thread happened. If we already have a pet thread, please direct me to it.

This is either to talk about your pets, and various things about owning one, or to share pictures of pets that may not be necessarily "funny" or "cute" or "epic" enough for a different thread.


So we bought this 3 or 4 dollar bone for our dog recently, just for the heck of it. She's been very defensive about it. She keeps putting the bone in the middle of the floor, where people can barely avoid it. And if you get anywhere near it, she attacks you. Even if you are walking away from the bone, she follows you and tries to bite at your ankles. If I move the bone, or something of the sort, and go back to my desk, she'll move the bone back to an in the way location, and then come sit next to me as if making sure I don't try anything funny.

TL;DR, my dog is a drama queen when it comes to things like bones.

My dog is almost 12 and she doesn't act like it. Snores more though.

My kitten climbs door frames then meows for help when she can't get down.

My dog is about 12 and she has these big old lumps on her butt. I also have a cat who is about 2 and she likes to sleep on my bed.

My cat is fat and for some reason is faster than the skinny ones we have.
My dog is small and likes to piss in my brothers room.

My cat (or, more accurately, my roommate's cat) just got done recovering from surgery. He ate some hair-ties and had to get them removed from his stomach.

Mt cat always manages to get his fur tangled into horrible mats, no matter how much I brush him, and then I have to clip them out of his fur. He usually looks like he has mange by the time I let him go--and that's without having gotten all of the mats!

Also, my dog washes his face with his paw like a cat, because he saw my cat doing it when he was a puppy.

And my gecko...is adorable and likes to watch me play video games.

Trying so hard not to post pictures of every cat I've fostered and some I've not fostered but just play with a lot at work because cats are so daisies cute and I am never around the dogs at work and am not allowed to have a dog myself.


I own 3.5 cats (one is feral and really only stays because she's in love with my old indoor-outdoor cat,) and when I move out I'm leaving my 12-almost-13yr old cat with my parents and only keeping my currently 2-year old maine coon mixes Shinji and Naoto. And will eventually adopt a third when I am stable on my own. When I started working at my shelter I decided I should adopt one of the cats there when I could, so that is why I will have 3 cats haha. My cats are dicks but they have such dynamic personalities that I can't help but love them.

We have one foster kitten currently named Coal and I have a feeling my mom is going to adopt him for herself. Which is good because that tells me she is coming to grips with the idea of me leaving next year (she wants a cat to care for for when I am gone and has falled for this one.)


I also have a hamster named Charlie and he's a huge asshole and is nearing 3 years old and has a lump on his belly that I cannot have taken care of (only exotics vet in the area got fired WHOO HOO) so I am not expecting him to be around much longer :<


My mother has a Chihuahua who has no teeth and hates me for no discernable reason. He also pees everywhere upstairs for no discernable reason as well.

My father has a 75g saltwater tank with lovely fishes in it. I used to have a 55g freshwater community tank but due to the location of said tank, I was unable to keep up with the algae bloom and have decided to take it down til I move. I also have a 5.5g divided tank containing two betta named after Pokemon.





There are so many animals in my house sobbu they aren't all mine I swear

Have two kittens that have a schtick they pull depending on the time of day. If it's morning, or rather breakfast time, the smaller one will frequently smack the larger one until they both get their food.

But when evening comes the big one seeks revenge and chases the smaller one all over the house. And since we have mostly wood floors we can hear them skittering around and slamming into walls.

First is a pure-bred Siberian Husky (saddleback), second is an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix. I love them both to bits.

I might have to surrender them to a shelter in the coming weeks, though.

When i stayed down at my grandparents house the night before, one of her cats got on my side and just laid their like a Sphinx.
