Cloverfield isn't being made by the same guy that made Lost. It's being made by the company that produced Lost. It looks better in the theater though...
I wonder what the monster is though... There are some theories about it like it being a monster called Cthulhu from H. P. Lovecraft's books.

JJ Abrams is "the guy" I was talking about, and he's producing both Lost and Cloverfield.

I've heard the Cthulhu theory, but I think that it just came around because there is a confimred Cthulhu movie happening. I looked into that, though, and it's a completely different movie by a different studio.

Actually, my brother came up with this but whatever....
You know the times in the bottom corners of the pictures on the 1-18-08 website? It goes from 12:01 am to 12:36 am. My bro thinks the movie probably happened within that timeframe.

The movie looks kick booty though. It's a good thing they showed the ad with Transformers because most people who went to Transformers will probably go to Cloverfield.

I just watched the trailer again. Based on the creature's roar, the fire and the size it would have to be I'm gonna guess it's a dragon.
