The proletariats have been talking this over for quite a while now, and we've decided to make a "General Health" thread to replace the TMI thread. Most of the stuff posted in the TMI/NSFW thread doesn't really leave room for discussion, and it's turned into porn talk and poop twitter. This thread has been created for the few that used the TMI/NSFW thread as a place to talk about legitimate health problems.

Keep in mind this thread will be very heavily moderated.

Please read the rules very carefully.

-Do not, under any circumstance, discuss porn or link to it in this thread.
-No lewd comments to younger members.
-Do not encourage illegal activities (incest, underage sex, prostitution, etc)
-Do not try to roleplay anything sexual. Do not hit on people in this thread. This is not a thread where you are allowed to act like a pervert. It will not be tolerated any any circumstance, joking or not.
-You are not allowed to describe your sexual escapades. The same applies to masturbation. Alluding to them is fine.
-This is not a place to talk about your fetishes, kinks, or unhealthy habits.

This thread exists in order to discuss things like allergies and STDs, as well as injuries. Questions about sex or sexuality are encouraged, so long as they adhere to the rules. They must be non-descriptive, not vulgar, and not gratuitous. Please keep your comments mature and to the point. Any inappropriate comments or jokes will be deleted, and you may receive a warning. Please be mindful of this when you post. If you think you are overstepping the boundaries, then opt for a PM, or just don't post at all.

Us proletariats will be watching this thread carefully to make sure this doesn't turn into another TMI thread. This is gonna be a lot more ~classy~ than TMI ever was, so break a rule and I'll break your face (◡‿◡✿)

Just as Lolita said, this is not another TMI thread, which is why the title has been changed. The TMI thread will be locked (and perhaps deleted) in the next few days.

I don't know if this belongs in this Thread or not, but yesterday, my mouth was really sore from chewing a lot of gum. Now, it's fine for the most part, but now I have a cut in my eye or something.

Aw man.

So, anyway, these last few days (week or two, I think. Hard to tell, my concept of time entirely revolves around how much I sleep) I've not been sleeping much (maybe a few hours a day at the max), and last night I was dreadfully tired but still working, and my eyes started to actually hurt. Was this from something weird, or can this actually happen with lack of sleep? Pain due to drowsiness?

This happens to me all the time. It helps if you wash your face.
And yes it is from lack of sleep.

I definitely know if you focus for to long on one particular thing (a screen, paper, whatever) you can hurt your eyes, and yes sleeplessness can result in actual physical pain in the eyes and elsewhere. sleep is desperately crucial to health so I'd suggest finding some way to get some.

And Keeg how did you get a cut in your eye?

Was that demon masturbation/cockvore RP the final straw for the TMI thread?

Because if so then that's the third time it's been depth-charged by underage members.

Good to see a body-related thread that won't be gross. Very pleased with this change

Anyway, I've had heartburn all afternoon and I think it's from the fried fish I ate. I took Pepto for it but I'm still in pain

It's possible since I've had that in the past. For me, lying down in bed while the room is dark for a bit eased the pain. Good enough if you can't go to sleep due to stuff needing to be done.
edit: beaten like crazy

It's been a hell of a long time coming, but yes, that contributed to it.
