A reboot of a franchise that doesn't even need a reboot, it's not even a decade old! And to make matters worse:

Yeah, imagine Spider-Man, only more like Twilight. Why, God, why?

...Good news is, though, at least this will free up some time for Sam Raimi to work on Evil Dead 4!

Good I'm sick of Tobey Maguire. But still.

Really?

The point of a reboot is to refresh a series after it has failed spectacularly. With the advent of Spider Man 3, and now Sam Raimi and everyone elses departure from the whole project, it's inevitable that a reboot is iminent, since the studios think superhero films are still huge and they can still milk Spider Man.

There's still a plethora of other superheroes to make movies about. Spider-Man may be popular, but this certainly doesn't warrant a reboot this soon.

Like I said, it's more about revitalizing a series after it has failed, rather than doing so after a period of time.

Say they do make the movie. It's gonna be another 5+ years until we see it. By then, it will have likely been long enough.

I was talking with a friend at school today and he said the exact same thing.

Eh, I never saw Spiderman 3. Though I loved the first two, so this still kinda bugs me, if only a little.

I don't think Evil Dead 4 will ever be made... from what I can tell, there's too many issues between Sam and the studios.

Personally, I'm fine with the three he's already got done. I want him to work on some Warcraft now. >8|

Bruce is a little too old now to make Evil Dead 4 as well. If it DID happen, it would probably be with new actors. Do not want.

Look, I have never seen any of the Evil Dead movies, so I am not quite sure what you are talking about, but I must ask how old people killing zombies is anything but completely awesome?
