What're you guys favorite stand-up comedians?

I was just wondering, because later on tonight I'm gonna go see Bill Bailey, in my eyes a comedy god, yet when I''ve been running around screaming 'OH MY GOD I'M ACTUALLY GOING TO SEE BILL BAILEY' People have just stared at me in a slightly concerned way.

The point is, from who I've talked to, not alot of my friends know about him, never mind like him, so it's nice to find out people's tastes in comedy, and discover some new comedians along the way.

So yeah;

Bill Bailey
Ross Noble
Frankie Boyle
Russel Howard
Dylan Moran
Eddy Izzard and
Bill Hicks.

There's more, but I wouldn't want to be a bore.

There's lots of shows that I like, but things like Blackadder and A bit ofFry and Laurie don't count as stand up, do they? Improv counts though, I think.

That's it, I only really LIKE three comedians. The rest I get through movies, TV shows, and webcomics (much like the ones I read that aren't THIS one :awesome:)

PS, why do people not like Dane Cook? Is it the "that one friend" skit?
