Ever had one of those games that you complete about 99% of the content, only to have the save-file corrupted, or deleted. Well, today I had the pleasure of such a particular event happening to not only my Mount & Blade save game, which I had gotten to level 37 or so, and was practically a god. But I also sat down and cried after Pokemon Pearl decided to assume that I had deleted the save-file.
I was just one Pokemon away from completing the National Dex. God. Fucking. Damnit.

This has also happened with a series of downloads. One minute I've almost completed a straining 6 days of downloading Dawn of War: Soulstorm off Steam, and the next I've had my blood boil over the fact that it set back to 0%.

Have you ever had such horrible streaks of bad-luck, or rather, felt like something out there just plain hates you?

My Wii broke a few days ago, and now I pretty much lost all of my save files. =[

I hate it when I had photoshop or when I use my Painters program, if I don't use CTRL+S to save it often, it'll of course, crash and destroy the hard work I've done.
It's why Digital art is sometimes a bugger to do. :C

I was downoading a game for a free weekend that took FOR. FUCKING. EVER. And when I finally got a chance to play it, it wanted me to put a cd code and I was like OMG WHAT. It might be because my old email is obselite and I couldn't get said CD Code.

Also my new copy of Brawl dosen't work on my Wii for some odd reason FFFFF

At about the age of 10, I lent my friend Smash Bros Classic on N64.

The next week, he returned it. It did not work anymore.

When I got Haunting Ground for the first time. I was excited... It wouldn't work. I had to take it back, get it changed out...It still didn't work until I cleaned the reader lense on my PS2, and cleaned the disc.

Also I got Silent Hill 2 to find out my PS2 was broke....

This happened a day ago.

I was playing Spore Galactic Adventures, creating an adventure that I was planing on sharing with the webernetz. I had finished it and started testing when out of nowhere, computer crashes. I think I'll be fine cause it saves after you make something right? Guess what!? Even the creatures that I made for the game were lost.

Ive had my OOT save file deleted 3 times. Each time it was around the water/shadow temple. My brother being only about 5 somehow managed to delete my game 3 times by either accidentaly choosing delete and then my game file or having the controller get stuck going up and deleting it. From that point on I never let him touch any of my save files ever again.

Also I've had the most luck with my Wii. One night we had this gigantic thunderstorm and BOOM lightning struck our transformer.... That being said, it blew out a TV, a dvd player, my DS charger, and wouldn't ya know it the Wii. But something interesting was that it was able to only blow out the video portion of it. I could turn it on, go to the menu and navigate, listen to the music but the screen was black. Good times. Good times.

From what I know of Mount and Blade, that must have been a shit-ton of work. I feel for you. :C

My PKMN Red Version deleted itself right before I went to fight the elite four. All the grinding that went into that! Gaaaaa!

I had a Gyarados too!

On my Golden Sun (The 1st one), I had 2 separate clear files which I had put hours upon hours leveling up and getting rare items from grinding certain monsters...
I lent it to a friend for a while to play it and when I got it back everything was erased....

I was sad, but it wasn't too bad since I know that game like the back of my hand...

I lost the game about 2 years later....
