is there any music that just...moves you? like when you actually listen to a song it makes you feel better in sucha way you just cant describe?

like for instance this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR9CfFPOERM

listening to the main beat of it is...like something breaking free of its mortal bounds and soaring on, like listening to pure happiness.

Because I'm a nerd.

Staff Credits of Wind Waker makes me cry a little, 'cause it's beautiful.

Well this always makes me smile whenever I hear it, if that counts.

Ignore the video it sucks. But I seriously cry at this song every single time I am such a baby.

I guess for something that moves but doesn't make me cry is Unicorn [duet version] because of sappy relationship stuff.

i love how that song is a mix between the Wing God's Aria and the Wind God's Lyric

The scene from The Last Unicorn, where Liir sings That's All I've Got To Say.

I love that song

Disney likes to have separate voice actors for talking and singing, so every person in the disney universe had a perfect singing voice.

What i love in The Last Unicorn is that the regular voice actors sing the songs. It gives them more meaning, i think, when they're not perfect. It just sounds more real, and more heartfelt.

Is it cheating to use Miror B's tune?
Still, I dare you to try be depressed while listening to that!

Oh yeah, and just about ANYTHING from Super Mario Galaxy! That game had brilliant music,
espeically Gusty Garden Galaxy's tune!

You're on your own there. It did nothing at all for me.

I dunno if this counts, but when I listen to this, it gets me pumped.

This one tears me up kinda.

Makes me very pop flyin' for some reason.

Waitin' On a Sunny Day

This version has just so much energy to it, it's wonderful.

Hotel California

For obvious reasons. It's just so awesome.

Canon

It's just that great.

Remember that MMO that SBKT made a thread about? No, not the AZ one. The other one. Yes, that one.

There's a music file in it called "Brightcastle". I don't know where it's from. Honestly, I don't.

They also updated that game recently, so they might have taken the file out. I'll find out when I get my computer back. I sure hope not though!

Anyway, that file is two minutes of just plain happiness for me. It makes me think of Sky City--That place in my dreams. I can remember the first... thirty seconds of it, actually.

Maybe I'll find the file on youtube. -shrug-

I was going to disapprove of this thread, but some actually good stuff is coming out of it.

Vito's Ordination Song by Sufjan Stevens. Linked to Playlist.com because Youtube isn't indie enough to have a good, complete version of this song.

Star of Wonder by Sufjan Stevens. Fuck yeah, Christmas.

Nacolepsy by Ben Folds Five.

Upside Down From Here by Atom and his Package. I've been listening to this band for a year and I still don't know what to say about them.

Crescendolls by Daft Punk. Television Rules the Nation/Crescendolls, live. I dunno which is better. Create your own daisies opinions.

And I guess I need some video game music, because that's what everyone else and their moms are doing. Here's Breakbeat Forest, from Kirby's Dreamland 2, remixed by Tepid.
