AWKWARD ZOMBIE

See, I have this horrible habit where I really, really like drawing up to the point where I have to colour stuff. Then, I hit a brick wall and go no, no that will not happen.

I have folders full of finished, but uncoloured, lineart for this reason.

Now I've tried to offer it to people to play with before, but nobody's ever taken me up on it. I just want to see these finished! Or, you know like, messed around with. DRAW SILLY MUSTACHES OR SOMETHING. I really don't care! It just seems such a waste to draw these things and not have anyone enjoy them.

So anyway here's what I was thinking: colouring book thread.

Everybody post what lineart/sketches/whatever you have, then other people colour it!


This will probably either end up falling on its stupid face or get me banned. But whatever!

idk if I'll color it, but I very much like the idea of a coloring book thread.

i hate coloring but i end up doing it anyways because I hate myself that much

Good idea for a thread but I have too much of my own stuff I need to colour (like maybe over a hundred pictures), so I can't help other people.

I don't think anybody can really help me either 'cos a lot of my drawings are first instances of an original character so there's no existing colour reference somebody could follow.

So basically it's either I colour my own work, or I colour my own work.

Well, ignoring myk, I think this might be fun.

I'm one of the few people who likes coloring better than lineart (no tablet).

But I don't have Gimp on this computer.

Well! I got something at least.

I'm on my work computer at the moment so I don't have any of my files, but when I get home I shall post more things. I can also draw, like, other things. If anybody wants... things.

Colouring isn't so bad really, it's the shadowing and highlighting which does my head in, especially if I want to use gradient shadows and highlights (my head hurts just thinking about it).

I still think I'd rather do it myself than get somebody else to do it though.

I love shading and stuff...

When I do it with a nice normal graphite pencil.

Yeah but I have no doubt that you're a more serious artist than I am. My 'art' goes about as far as DERP DERP DRAW A DOGGY and then I just never want to finish it. But like... maybe somebody else wants to? IDK MAN. IDK.
