Thats an optional feature. They're suited more for sites with sharing of stuff. Like Romhacks, videos, anime sharing, or comic forums. Y'know, forums where giving + or - rep actually means anything.

We already have elitists on this forum. Its just that we have no need for rep because we don't share anything for that to be required. The last thing I need is to bitch at people for "u gais rep plz" posts.
