I had pineapple on pizza, once. I didn't really notice it since it was buried under all the other things except some oddly sweet crunch at certain points. It didn't really add to it, but it didn't make me hate it.

I hate pineapple. Pizza needs to be liberated from those that think the two can mix.

The only thing pineapple is good with is ham.

I prefer cold pineapple to hot pineapple but it's good with ham. Also every pizza is good pizza, so.

There are certain things that cannot be on a pizza.

Like existentially. Their presence removes the existence of pizza and leaves only cheese on toast.

Pineapple is one of those things.

If you enjoy ham and pineapple on your cheese on toast, that's fine. That's a life decision you can make and live with.

Isn't pizza though.

im not gonna be a dick and be all 'certain things hould never be on pizza' i just personally hate the way pineapple tastes on pizza. its gross. and the texture is just Wrong with everything else as well.

Pineapple's fibrous texture doesn't mesh well with pizza, I feel, despite how I also think it's sweet flavor could go well with the savory flavor of the sauce and cheese. I would much rather have artichoke hearts on my pizza; super-rich in taste.

Pizza is a vegetable, haven't heard about it being salad. Still, vegetable and fruits are the healthy way to go, so stuff fruit on your pizza.

Absolutely love pineapple on pizza.

Not a big fan of ham though, so Hawaiian is a pizza I don't usually order. I'll put pineapple on separately though if given the option.

From what I understand most people who don't like it on pizza don't like the fruit itself in general. And even then it's usually a texture issue. My brother and wife both hate pineapple and tomato for what they say are the same reasons.

Never really understood the "Pineapple on pizza is trash" meme, though.
