I think this is a viable topic. I want to discuss converting forms of video into others, same with songs. What sort of converter would be best for you?
I use my DS as a media player in all sorts of ways, however, it only plays the DPG files. There are three I know of. One officially licensed by Nintendo, which blows. Another that was homemade. And SUPER ©.
In my opinion,
SUPER © is the best. At least for conversion of movies or anime I have in possession into Nintendo usable DPG files. The quality is clear, and even subs end up being visible on the small screen. It's like watching it on the monitor as is. That's only my experience though.
There's a lot of customization here too.
I've yet to try it for FLAC o Mp3 conversion or even OGG conversion. I'm contemplating converting everything I have to Ogg too, but I'm not sure that's great either.
