Yeah... somehow I doubt that three triangles forming a bigger triangle was an idea taken from a largely-unknown book that tried to profit by combining two different 'lost continent' myths into one.

Yeah, when the gods created the universe thats what they left behind. Its currently kept in a well-guarded secret base in Texas. Only the pope of the catholic church is allowed to access it.

Of course it was made up, you numbnut!

Calm down mah boi. I meant as in just made up for a video game.
But she brought up that it was possibly based on something that really existed. So EXCUUUSE MEE PRINCESS.

H...

Right: by any chance are you trying to say "The Triforce design may have been based on another work of fiction", rather than what you're currently saying of "The Triforce design may have been based on a similar real life object"?

You all know that the triforce were based on something real?

I was trying to say The design was based on a real object. I made a mistake saying based on a "real object" when I have never studied upon it whatsoever to back that up. But I assumed that the book was documenting a real city in history or whatev.

I'm just rustled at your unprovoked assholish tone towards me. If you want to correct me, do so without sounding like a sarcastic douche.
Only Spoony can do that.

Oh, that's--

Wait.

(My train of thought went somewhat like this:)
Lemuria, Lemuria in golden sun which shares many similarities, Real life to Golden Sun back to real life to Legend of Zelda.

Weyward=Hyrule?

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Sorry, I guess it was over the top. But since I found out that my ex-girlfriend actually believes in Atlantis, I do NOT take kindly to anyone ever saying that there really was a city, continent or empire that sank at one point! It breaches common sense in both history and physics!

It's nice to dream. But when you can't differentiate between a dream or reality, something is wrong.

If I remember correctly, Shigeru Miyamoto based a lot of stuff from his video games from what he saw in real life.

Zelda's world of Hyrule was based off his wanderings through the country side and the finding of a cave.

I think he also said that the idea for Star Fox came from looking at a statue of a Fox in a Temple he visited once.

A lot of symbols in Shigeru Miyamoto's games can be found on religious and Shinto objects. I remember also looking at a picture of a stand outside of a temple selling trinkets. Some of the trinkets were different colored fans with the Triforce on them.

Thanks.
Oh so it's Atlantis we're talking about?
oh hurururur nevermind then.

I don't know what to think about Atlantis as being real or not. Regardless, it sounds like a nice place.
LOVED THE MOVIE.
