The forum's needed a cleaning, update, and maintenance for years but probably hasn't been a priority since the traffic on the forum is obscenely low with most of the posting being stuff in Le Comic. Also the outdated CAPTCHA probably explains the bot invasions we had in the past. Me and Great Handsome Oppressor (from what I remember, the other proletariats have been unable to even reach the forum due to MySQL errors but that was a while ago) have talked to Katie in the past about forum troubleshooting, but its been awhile. I cannot do much on the forum backend as I don't have the privileges and it's not my forum, so asking her on twitter is your best bet.

Awkward Zombie Forums is now a battle royale: The last person to have a functioning, unbanned account is the winner.

i feel like the Oodles are disproportionately in favor of the moderators, but I'll try my best.

Not like they could ban everyone in one fell swoop, I'm pretty sure that particular control panel is broken.

Also they better be careful around me, because if they delete me I'll burn the forum down from the inside out.

It's not a threat, either, it's an actual risk.

You say this but I bodaciously was IP banned by the forum just an hour after that post because I tried to use the built-in forum avatar uploader.

SO DON'T DO THAT KIDS.

Best part is I *don't know how* to unban myself or ask Great Handsome Oppressor to do it as I think the IP ban forum isn't even accessible due to either the banlist being so full or just some generic error. From what I remember, Yeili and a couple others have the same problem.

For those that are curious, this is a screenshot of the page that came up when I tried to upload an avatar. Its not consistent either, because this happened to me once before while trying to check an IP for duplicate accounts and one day it just.....stopped having me banned. I'm having to post this using a proxy, mind you.




All the above considered, it's amazing the forum hasn't burnt down already.
