Want people to help cure malaria? Send mosquitoes at them.

Except the mosquitoes weren't carrying malaria.

Malaria can however be transmitted on a mosquito's second bite.

So if somebody in the audience already had malaria, was bitten by a mosquito, then said mosquito went on to bite somebody else, they'd get malaria.

Hilarity (and/or lawsuits).

Actually, that was a pretty cool idea. Most of those people in the panel probably don't even know what a mosquito even LOOKS like, so having them experience their irritation would be a good way to make them realize the huge problem they cause.

Also, releasing mosquitoes into a crowd is just plain hilarious, I love Gates now.
