Dragonball: The Magic Begins

I was looking at Wiki regarding information on the original Dragon Ball manga. At the bottom they talked about the live-action movies, before the new one that's coming out in '09 there was a Chinese knock-off of Dragon Ball called "Dragonball: The Magic Begins"
I've heard about it before but never been able to find it 'cause I didn't really know the name. I managed to find it on Youtube.
Although wiki labeled it as tacky and some have called it cheesy, I decided to look at it and it's actually really fun.
It follows very closely to the original Dragon Ball story line with names of certain things changed as a loophole to copyright violations. It uses extremely fake and dramatic special and kung-fu effects which remind you of Power Rangers. Regardless it's a fun movie with some splapshot comedy which is really in par with the manga.

Trust me, it's better than it looks. Master Roshi is hilarious and like I said, the special effects are really fake.

Oh god, this is awesome. It's hilariously bad and over the top. I'm gonna watch the other 8 parts when I have more time.

Part 7 is definitely the best, Master Roshi is such a pervert and Oolong gives him a lap dance while pretending to be Bulma XP

lol Bulma/Oolong doesn't actually get naked though. Although he does shoe Roshi his fake tiddies.

It looks promising enough, though I'll have to watch more. Hopefully, it's more faithful to the original manga/anime then the upcoming movie.

It's actually almost exactly the same, they only deviate by keeping Son Gohan (Goku's grandfather) alive but he's in a total of 15 minutes in the movie.
