Okay, yeah, hi AZ.

So um yeah im not gonna bother with actual english today instead im just sorta SHAKING LIKE FREAKING CRAZY OK

an hour ago i got told that my identity got stolen and someone used my card number at dominoes pizza in california, then at a maryland

i dont know how this is possible and i am legit flipping shit

right now my parents are going down to the bank to pull out all of my cheddar right now before it goes through, they contacted the california dominoes to explain and they said they're gonna cancel the order, no idea about the maryland store

i mean i tried to call the maryland store but right now i can barely say a normal sentence, i am legit having a panic attack while typing this

i dont know what do to and i need advice this is my familys plan

1. were gonna try and drain out all of the cheddar from my account before it processes tonight
2. I've already ran a virus scan on my computer and it showed no keylogger
3. I changed the password and the details of the dominoes account that made the order, they know my password for alot of things(i have bad memory), and I'm in the process of changing them to random, different passwords I have listed on my phone and my desktop.
4. I'm deleting my google account and creating a fresh, new one.
5. my parents contacted the california dominoes and they cancelled the order there, they're gonna call the other one and try to get the order there cancelled too

please help me i need to know what to do here, or at least see if theres anything else to do, i'll probably cancel my account too after this and just start fresh

i trust you guys, please help me

just an update

we pulled all the cheddar from my account and my mother was only able to contact one pizza place, the other was closed

The confirmation Email I got has an address but uses my dads name and my number, but another one(Maryland) has a name, number, and an address, I printed and changed my google password so hopefully i'll be okay.

Gonna finish up changing passwords and head off to bed, hopefully the police can get involved with the evidence in my Email.

Edit: Thank you guys for at least reading through this, I truly appreciate the concern, I really do, you guys are great.

You dont contact the pizza place usually. The first thing that should happen is you immediatly call your banks of the affected accounts and cancel the cards associated with those accounts and dispute the charges.

been here done this, a few times, actually, it's really not that bad. your bank/credit card company should handle everything for you. call them and tell them that your card got stolen and they'll cancel the card and lock down your account so it can't be used for so many days. they'll send you a new card with a new number. you really didn't need to take the cheddar out of your account either; the bank will cover the cheddar that was fraudulently spent so you won't have actually lost anything. like, i got mugged a few years ago and they took all our cards and got cash with an atm with them and the bank was like nah that never happened and just gave us the $300 or so.

the number was probably taken from a shady website you bought something on, or a gas station, or someone phishing your number in a store with a device as you walked by them. there's thousands of different methods. it's not worth the energy to figure out how, honestly, just focus on changing your card number and don't buy things on shady websites. or if you gotta, use a paypal account for an extra layer of protection. imo it's not really worth calling the police either...idk how easy it is to track this kind of things but its probably low priority since the bank pretty much takes care of it all and you walk away with no real damage.

Hey, it's gonna be ok. This kinda stuff happens all the time and usually gets resolved pretty quickly by your bank. I've actually had my debit card info stolen twice. One time because someone actually hacked into my bank's servers (I'm at a different bank now, lol), and another from unknown reasons. The folks at the bank said it might have been from a device that people can attach to the card-swipe-machine that steals info from your card.

But yeah all you really need to do is cancel the card and let your bank know so they can put a freeze on your account - I'm guessing they already have let you know that some shady business went down. They have automated systems in place that can tell when you can't possibly buy two pizzas across the country, or suddenly start spending tons of cheddar in random places on things you wouldn't buy. It's kinda cool. You shouldn't need to make a new account or anything, just get a new card. Minor hassle but nothing scary, don't worry!
