Pluto SHALL get its revenge.

Or maybe the Moon decides it can't stay away from Mother Earth any longer, and thrusts itself at us. :awesome:

All hair stylists will revolt and quit, and everyone will suffocate from their large amount of hair.

You know, I thought the same thing as soon as I saw this in the thread list.

So which did you have in mind - death by black holes or death by strange matter? They're both a possibility with the LHC.

Ditto.

However, if the LHC somehow fails, I'd have to say...
A large void created by the Chaos Heart. :B
It's not going to in our lifetime. Most likely, the sun will die in the distant future, and the earth along with it.

Attempting to explain this scientifically is BORING. The final day will involve, a plague of vermin, death of livestock, and a shower of flaming dogs. +5 to whoever gets the reference 1st.

Wait... Is that from Oblivion? Shegorath's shrine quest, if I'm not mistaken.

I third the LHC and will cast my vote for black holes. Strangelets are hypothetical. So's Hawking radiation, but at least the black hole theory has the whole "black holes have been proven to exist" thing going for it. But they're both so unlikely to occur that they're effectively equally (un)likely possibilities.

Plus, death by black hole has got to be one of the coolest ways to go.

The world shall end when I figure out why there is a plant with the scientific name Amorphophallus. Or whatever it is. :awesome:

Phallus.

EDIT: Actually, the world might end when I figure out the meaning of my li- Oh, wait, I already know that. It's to annoy you people to the point of getting new friends. IT MIGHT END WITH YOU.
