He is the only man who can make a worthwhile "quirky indie comedy" type movie.

Everyone should rent Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Darjeeling Limited. Probably The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, too, but I've only watched the first fifteen minutes. I'll be watching the rest soon.

His cinematography and use of color are pretty amazing. The train in Darjeeling in particular. He works well shooting in small areas, I think. The closet scene in Tenenbaums is absolutely hilarious.
