blade2764: I know. But I'm all in favor of an RPG where with enough skill, you can avert taking damage altogether.

blade2764: But man, that second game was really good and I just played the first one. I think I just want more of it. xD

Teh Vixx: The fact they took out the fighting system was devestating.
blade2764: I thought the fighting system in those Mario and Luigi games for the GBA and DS was the best.
blade2764: You know, when I was playing the first game, I kept asking myself, why is everything made of paper, anyway? How does that affect the gameplay or the story? It really doesn't.
blade2764: They just kind of did it for fun. Which is something I'm all for. The game has its own style, its own individual sense of culture, because it's different, but the same.
blade2764: And I'm sure there are people who think that these games don't have to be Mario games at all, and they could just be their own unique creations, but the games really feels new.
Teh Vixx: I kinda mentally seperate Paper Mario from other Marios.
Teh Vixx: He could be like Game n Watch.
blade2764: I would totally play a Game & Watch RPG. Crap, now I really want that to happen.
