ALRIGHT, BITCHES. TIME TO MAN THE FUCK UP AND BREAK OUT THE MAGNOLIAS. CAREFUL NOT TO GET TOO MUCH DIRT IN YOUR FRILLY GIRLY PANTIES. AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY BITCHING ABOUT SPLINTERS OR SPIDERS.

THE ENEMY CAN SENSE YOUR WEAKNESS. THIS IS A WAR ON UNTAMED GROUND. THIS IS THE MOST ANCIENT OF MANLY ARTS. THIS IS FOR THE SURVIVAL OF HUMANITY AND CIVILIZATION.

THIS IS GARDENING.

So yeah, anyone who's got a green thumb post your shit that you're growing (or see a doctor to get that shit checked out, bro.)
I'll post pictures of my plants as soon as I get home from Sloth's house. Maybe do milestone growth pictures or something, I don't know. Tips and tricks and what not, basically just whatever.

STOP KILLING THEM, OF COURSE.
WATERING THEM MIGHT HELP.

I got my mom a rose glow barberry for Mother's Day because fuck flowers they die so fast bushes last forever.

It's p. cool. Pinkish orange on the top half, green on the bottom half. We named it Stikla, after a Norwegian pirate queen because we're normal and all.

I have been doing so much gardening! I am true to my name!
I've planted: Cucumbers, onions, peppers of all kinds, and at least five kinds of tomatoes!
YEAH!

I have a ghost pepper plant. It's pretty small still

Only thing I haven't managed to kill yet.

Perfect timing for this thread! My Morning Glories are starting to grow onto my fence, I'll take pictures tomorrow. It's hard to get them to climb on my tree, though, because since they grow towards the light, they grow away from the tree. Kind of bad placement, but oh well..

Hmm once I move into my new apartment I should get a houseplant or something. Something to cleanse the air of CO2 and fill it with oxygen and pollen.

My babies so far.

I only got them all about a few days ago. I'm getting a batch of free soil from work tomorrow and I might buy some pots while I'm out so I can start sprouting my seeds.

The little orchid is good and healthy. I'm not sure why my boss didn't want to sell it because it looks fine to me. The larger ones were more wilted though. Hopefully they'll start growing back but Orchids are pretty high maintenance and difficult to handle.

My basil was pretty sad looking when I got it, so I removed the wilted and moldy parts and the leaves that made the stems fall over. It's beginning to grow new leaves so that's good! I made some eggs today with some minced fresh basil leaf and good glory it was deliciously spectacular. I can't wait to have hopefully a whole bush of it.

The mint smells great. I think it's great to have some leaves with me during the day to chew to freshen my breath. Certainly better then gum I think.

I once heard that Aloe plants can regrow from their branch if it breaks off? Like, sticking it back into the soil and it'll grow another whole plant from there. I am not sure if it's true but I would be awesome if it is. I'm attempting it but who knows.

Only because it refuses to die until it can unleash its capsaccin in one last blaze of glory on your tongue.

The type of basil you have looks like the taller variety, which means that you won't exactly have a bush of it, and you'll have to watch out to make sure flowers don't bloom on it, or else it'll be done. But it's the color of sweet basil, as opposed to lemon basil, so that'll be cool.

And yes. Certain kinds of Aloe can grow by sticking the arm into the dirt. You just have to stick it down a ways.

Im not a Bad enough dude to be a good gardener, but I am a bad enough dude to be a Gardevoir.

But Ido keep a spider plant (nearly impossible to kill them if you remember to water em) and a clover plant my mum let me take care of. Its about 5 years old now. Who knew clover could be so ancient, or bloom pretty PANK flowers that look nothing like the honey sweet bulbs Im used to seeing on the wild variety. Actually to be honest Im a better local herbal identifier (I live up in Maine so we mostly have plants that are hardy or can seed throught he cold) than I am an herbal caregiver. :/

Yeah it's sweet basil I believe. How do I keep it from growing flowers? I'd like to keep it going as long as I can.

I'll perhaps have to get a bigger pot for my aloe's so I can stick the arms deeper inside. I'm not sure if my kind of aloe is able to do this. It's called on it's tag "Medicinal Aloe". I know by my stepmom's aloe she has in the other room just how big they get (it's almost more then two feet long geez).

you can just trim the tops off once you think you might something that doesn't look like a leaf.
And yeah, medical aloes can get huge. Mine is still pretty small.

SOME PICTURES:

I really need to transplant my aloes. Bro is beginning to get to the point where he can't grow anymore until he's in a bigger pot, although Dave is doing alright. Betty (Morning glory sprouts) is just now starting to grow since I only planted the seeds a couple weeks ago.

And then there's little Basil (self explanitory), and Melissa the Amaryllis

And then Hawkeye, my medical aloe.

I'mma get supplies to plant the pomegranate sprout and the garlic tomorrow, since the ferret kind of demolished the previous garlic test.
