I'm not into the whole commercialized gift-giving madness these holidays entail. To me, gifts ought to either be earned, or completely spontaneous and without expectations of return, out of pure kindness and fondness. I hate feeling so obliged to get everyone good gifts, wracking my mind and my wallet just to hold up a tradition of vapid consumerism. I hate it when people give me gifts, fully expecting me give them a gift in return. It's simply a mad system of false entitlement and expectations that only harms the mental and financial well-being of the majority of people struggling to uphold those expectations and entitlements. None of it is earned, none of it is done out of spontaneous kindness. It's just gross. :colbert:

I do, however, absolutely adore the winter season and seasonal cheer/spirit. I just started snowing and I feel so pop flyin' :awesomeface:
