No idea. I just don't like the general sound of rap. Can't really say why. I also dislike rap because the mainstream (Assuming the songs pertaining to rampant drug/booze use, gang (or regular) violence and other such shit are mainstream) shit promotes ignorance, violence and in-fighting in the minds of those who will eventually be running this country. Also, some rap, at least in my eyes, degrades the black population to some degree.

I recognize that not all rap is like that, and I respect that, but that still doesn't change the fact that I'm not fond of the basic and central feel and sound of the genre. Even if I found it pleasing to the ears, I'd still have a bias attitude towards it.
