"Yeah, I think I know why they're here..." Whitney scowled. She grabbed both her keys and ID card, then hurried out to catch up with Pierce. She'd brought something extra with her, in case Pierce got the answer she was hoping he got.

"Hmm... Medicine would probably do the trick... and we sold only one dose of it yesterday... Indeed!"

"We sold it to that bastard! Lynch him!"

The two boys point to Punchy.

Pierce turns to see Whitney approaching. He crosses his arms.

"Well, hawkeye, I may have just discovered how you were knocked out last night."

"But....it doesn't quite make sense."

The eagle notices Whitney's keys and ID card in her hands.

"Oh! You found them! Where were they?"

"They were under Cranston." Whitney sounded disgusted. She shook her head. "Anyway, what did you find?"

Pierce looks shocked.

"U-under...Cranston?!?!? But why?!?"

He shakes his head and rubs his temples.

"Anyway, according to the little twin devils over here, they sold some medicine to a certain feline friend of ours yesterday."

"I don't know how it's possible, but he could have drugged you. Did you meet with Punchy or have anything to eat or drink after we parted ways last night?"

"Punchy..." Whitney had a dark look on her face. "I don't recall being near him yesterday, but we're going to his house. Now." She marched off towards Punchy's house, stopping outside it and trying the front door.

Pierce hurries after her.

"Now wait a minute, hawkeye! What do you intend to do?"

"I wanna find out just how deep Punchy's involved in this case. You said he bought the medicine, right? What do you think he intended to do with it?" Finding Punchy's door locked, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a small kit. She procured a pair of lockpicks from the kit and proceeded to pick open Punchy's door without another word, then stashed the kit away on her person and entered Punchy's house. "Help me look, please," she said. "Let's turn this place upside-down if we have to."

Pierce gently grabs Whitney's shoulder before she enters the house.

"Whitney."

He looks at her sternly.

"You're not thinking this through clearly. Right now you're in hot water, and barging into Punchy's house isn't going to help your case one bit."

"I said I'd help you however I can, but you need to let me do that. I'll investigate things in here, you go find Punchy and question him. Calmly. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but it's in your best interest, hawkeye. Please."

Whitney looked angry for a moment, but nodded. "...fine. Please check everywhere--and I mean everywhere!" She hesitated, then turned and made her way out of the house, casting several backwards glances at Pierce.
She headed back to the crime scene and approached Punchy. "...Hey. Can I talk to you for a minute?" she asked.

"Alright then, let's see what you're hiding in here, Punchy."
