It's just s cyst. I forgot the specific kind though.
It's been here for over a year and hasn't changed size at all, and he says that's a good thing. It's nothing bad, he says it's odd that it started to hurt but other than that there's nothing to worry about. I'll get an ultra sound or something on it in a few days/weeks.
So all in all there's nothing to worry about.
