I have this weird fear that involves swimming. When I was younger, it used to be a fear of deep water (even in a pool). I've gotten over that because I realized it wasn't deep water I was fearing, it was things INSIDE the water.
So I can swim in a deep pool fine, but if I swim in a lake or ocean and it's deep enough that I can't see the bottom, I sometimes get all panicky, because I think a fish is gonna brush against my foot or something.
Not just fish, though. Deadheads (tree stumps that poke out of or are juuust visible below the water) creep me out, too.

However, I'm not freaked out about the idea of going diving in the ocean or exploring a forest of dead tree stumps underwater.

So yeah, weird fear.
