I'm gonna assume it was Angelic. Why would the cook try to take a shot in the dark so soon when it could mean killing one of us?

So... Angelic was killed. Presumably by the Traitors.
Chin was killed. I guess Angelic is the only one who could have since I think the Cook's ability couldn't activate until tonight. Might be wrong about the cook.
And Benson was seduced while Cori was protected.

Does this all seem right so far?

Careful with your allegations there, sir. We've shanked people for less...

It's the typical first day dilemma. No one's done anything suspicious, and we can't use yesterday's votes for captain because Cori's role is independent, we don't know who Marcato is, and the fact that Angelic was the monster doesn't aid in analyzing her vote since hers was an independent role as well.

We're in a pickle.

We can start randomly asking people interrogation based questions.

Like...MARCATO! WHERE WERE YOU ON THE NIGHT OF LAST NIGHT!?

Aye, with one of our wenches. I didn't catch her name, we were too busy with the rum....and I don't know what happened afterwards. If one of the lasses winds up with a wee shipmate in her belly, don't nobody start pointing fingers at me.

The Cook's power is a bit different because it's delayed. Like a gun that gets fired the night before and takes a whole day to find it's target. It's kind of hard for me to tell whether taking a shot in the dark early could prove more beneficial than waiting for some more solid evidence. Since waiting means you may not live to see your power work but firing early means you may hit the wrong person. Though right now the chances of hitting either a Mutineer or Traitor are 50%(Unless Cori or Benson are the Mutineer in which case it's 40%). And I assume that number will only get higher as nights go on. But the chances of us dying or getting converted increase each night as well.

Good point. Forgot the cook is delayed.

I don't think we're going to get any evidence today, so should we do a blind lynch or what?

Not saying you're wrong, but how exactly do these statistics work out? I might just be tired and not thinking about this the right way.

OK, never mind, I'm dumb. The math works out, Supaaku.

And that honestly has the same problems as the Cook using their power early. At best it's a 50/50 chance of choosing the right person to lynch.

The tradition in these mafia games is usually to vote no lynch on the first day, but with two groups trying to take the crew down that might not be the best solution--so what is? A random.org roll?

A roll of the old twelve-sided dice? Each person with their own number?
