"I don't see why not, doroing."

I guess I should tell everyone my name--it's Whitney." The white wolf folded her arms, pursing her lips thoughtfully. "And maybe we shouldn't just stand around here all day staring at each other. I want to see the rest of the place so I'll at least know what we'll be working with."

"Well if we're doing introductions, my name is Bud! I think I've seen some of you guys before..." Bud looked around taking in some of the names and faces around him. "Anyways, lets get this show ball going maaaan. We gonna head to the plaza?"

"I know the original idea was to explore in the morning," Cranston said, turning to Diana, "but I'd like to take a look around town before these...'night time hours' as well. I don't think I'd be able to sleep a wink tonight without knowing what we've been given to help escape."

"Sweatband? What's that supposed to mean, moneybags?"

"It is now nighttime, you bastards." you hear Tom Nook's voice echo over an intercom system throughout the village. "Since it's the first night, I suggest you go to sleep and not fool around, unless you're going to murder someone, that is... upupu... Tomorrow's a long day, and the stores are closed for now. We wouldn't want you getting lost in the dark alone now, would we?"

After those chilling words, you believe it would be for the best to sleep tonight and investigate tomorrow morning. You go your seperate ways, and sleep in your new homes. You're not sure how long you'll spend in your new home, but you believe there must be a way out of here besides a shallow grave.

Apologies for any potential railroading here guys, but the first day is mostly setting up the game. You'll be free to do stuff on Day 2!

NIGHT 1

Nook's Nighttime Corner

"The Villagers here have just started their lives in Hope Town, and already I can feel their youthful energy welling up!"

"It fills me with pride to see such bright youngsters working hard to come up with a solution."

"But they have a year to solve the puzzle put before them, and I sincerely hope they don;t burn themselves out too fast."

"We need to ensure this year is full of excitement and fond memories!"

DAY 2

Starting today, you are free to investigate as you like. Daytime will typically last 24 hours (in this case, I'm cutting it short a few hours to standardize the time), and will end at Midnight EST. After that, it'll be Nighttime for the next 24 hours (I will announce every shift between them to the best of my abilities. If all else fails, follow what I post). Trials will disrupt this cycle, but we'll get back on track afterwards.

If you have an action you want to do at night (like murder, or use a skill), send me a PM. You are allowed to post and investigate at night, but be aware that nighttime is more dangerous in general, and purposefully staying out at night to catch murders in action is well... likely to be foiled somehow. Limit being out at night to planned things, or you might end up accused of murder yourself.

Additionally, if you want to give me a head's up on your murderingness, feel free to shoot me a PM sooner than the night of. I might be able to work with you on some things.

Also, if no one steps up to murder within a few in-game days, someone will be randomly selected to murder!



"Attention, you bastards. It is now daytime! Let's live life to the fullest today~"

Joe the Bird was already out in front of his house, pecking at the ground occasionally.

Punchy steps outside and stretches, shutting his eyes tight.

Lucky walks out of his house, struggling to keep his eyes open. "I probably shouldn't have stayed up until 3 analyzing the situation," he states, yawning.

Joe looks over at Lucky, his next door neighbor.
"Oh, mornin'."
He goes back to pecking at the ground, pulls a worm out and slurps it up.

Pierce slowly emerges from his house, rubbing sleep from his eyes. He sees his neighbors outside and waves.

"G'morning, folks!"

"'Morning Pierce. Anything eventful last night?"

A groggy Coco wanders out of her house.
"'G'morning, doroing." She says, giving a sleepy wave.

"Upupu... it seems you bastards survived the night. I guess no one felt like murdering quite yet? Maybe there's hope for you yet." Nook's voice came over the intercom.

"That voice... Where's it coming from?!?"
