It's only uncircumcised Americans who get suffer from dick-fall-off-itis, obviously.

'Tis not all that uncommon.

Asperger's, I mean. Not dick-fall-off-itis.

That's the problem with ailments that can have varying degrees of showing. Even if a person per definition has Asperger's doesn't mean it's apparent to everyone around :) A lot of illnesses are common, but not as visible since they can show up in a "mild" version.
I probably have a little bit of OCD, but can't be bothered to get it diagnosed 8)

OCD is pretty much the first thing people diagnose themselves with. Most people who do so don't actually have it.

Liking tidiness doesn't come close to making you OCD.

Now I'm gonna be a hypocrite, but...
I have a habit of standing in the bathroom for up to an hour picking at pimples. I usually have one or two, and then I scour my body, squeezing at any telltale bump or hair follicle.
It's borderline compulsory, I have serious trouble summoning the willpower to abstain; does this seem like a decent reason to want to get checked out for OCD? I've noticed it happens more severely when I'm upset.

I think I have a very light form of OCD.
As in I keep some things neat and tidy but care nothing about others.

Eh, I don't think it's fair to call that OCD. I keep my room neat and tidy but not my desk. You're better off not self-diagnosing yourself with that kinda stuff anyway. Just think of it as the way you are right now.

Cobb I suppose if you're super concerned about it, you could have yourself checked out, but it's probably not all that big a deal. I do stuff like that from time to time as well.

As for Terra and anyone else who thinks really liking things to be tidy (or being uncomfortable when things are not tidy) is a sign of OCD you're really misunderstanding the concept of the disorder. It can manifest as any action or what have you that someone desperately NEEDS to perform or they have a nervous breakdown or episode. Some people have to constantly wash their hands or they'll freak out horribly. Some people keep piles of assorted junk in the middle of their floor, and if it's at all moved out of place they will have a panic attack until they fix it. Hell some people with OCD will physically move people if they think they're in the "wrong place" in a room.

It's a really complex thing that does not always translate to "Someone who freaks out and gets uncomfortable if something is not clean."
