out of curiosity, do you know what the responses to this were?

Almost unanimous acquiescence.

I actually think that you would like it. If you look past the game mechanics, the game actually does delve into some interesting philosophical questions, and the unique setting alone is reason enough to play the game. I for one very much enjoyed the story, and found it to be quite entertaining.

It reminded me alot of Metroid Prime actualy (not the setting or any particular story elements, just the atmosphere) so I kept comparing the two. Metroid won. I love that game, but Bioshock was good too. Amazing story, at least.

Ah I'll get around to it eventually, it's just not that high on the list of things I still have to play.

SO GUYS today I was out on the town running some small errands. In one of the shops I visited, there was a bench near the door where a mother was sitting, holding a crying child. The boy, perhaps 7-8 years old, was screaming "Daddy, daddy" over and over again. I thought, "hey, that's cute, I remember crying for my daddy when I was that age too."

I got what I came for, paid and was on my way out. As I exited, I heard the boy: "Daddy!" And the mother: "Daddy's in heaven now."
