EDIT 2: woah wait hold up, anyone see any glaring issues with this?

I see exactly one issue with it and that is the 250W PSU. It's barely enough to power any modern system and most definitely can't supply a dedicated GPU with enough power not to mention it likely lacks a PCIe power connector required for most modern mid-end+ GPUs. So if you replace it with a 450W+ one, you should be okay. Those go for about 50 bucks I think.

Oh, yeah I should have mentioned that. I've got like a 600W that I'm gonna be putting in, so I'm set for that too.

As for the fans, they don't bother me at all. I've almost always got a super-loud window fan running almost all the time, so I doubt it'll be louder than that anyway.

I'm mostly asking about the brand, or maybe the more precise information like RAM speed or summat.

RAM speed is fine. Looking at the specs, I don't see much to complain about. No idea about the brand.

Okay so

Up until now my headphones have been working fine

Then the sound quality of the music I was listening to dropped and speaking, whether its from music, audio or a video has dropped to the point where its barely above a whisper

Is there anything that can be done?

Most problems with headphones start with the jack. Are there any noticeable scratches on the metal? Does the sound quality change if you twist or move it around while its plugged in?

If there is a problem there then I don't think there's much you can do. Other than that I have no idea what else could be causing it.

They're usb headphones; I've tried moving it around in the port, and nothing changes

I'm using my iphone headphones for now, so I'd assume its not a software issue, nor are the jacks unusable

I don't want to have to buy a new set, but I guess I'll have to

Thanks

Not tech help exactly but I still need help on this.

For me, AZ forums is extremely laggy and I keep getting logged out, this happens constantly on all days of the week. Other websites work perfectly, it's just these forums.

I haven't seen anything about others having the same problems so I figure I better ask here.

I had that problem ages ago, and still have it a bit, but it settled down eventually. Happens way less frequently now.

It happened to me on other forums built on the same software (The Megas forum, for one) so it's not an issue with these forums specifically. You could try checking phBB support, perhaps?

Out of curiosity, what browser do you use? I've noticed it mostly on Chrome.

I browse the forum on both firefox and the in-game steam browser (for those dull moments in vidya games), haven't tried chrome yet although I'd expect the same story.

I'll give phbb support a check but I'm open to any other ideas as well.

My guess would be that whatever cookie the boards put on your computer are expiring early? I don't know much about cookies, so I'm no good for advice here. Might be a setting either in your browser or on he board.

I have a problem with the forum logging me out as well, but only on my phone and it happens very inconsistently. This is on Opera.

I think phone browsers in general just have a slew of their own problems. Google Chrome for iOS logs me out of everything whenever my phone reboots.

Not sure if there's a fix for any of it, though I do think I recall opera having a good number of settings back on my old flip phone.

An update so far, phpBB support provides no answer except to those with editing rights to forums, deleting board cookies does nothing, no changes to account settings do anything, it happens on steam browser, firefox, chrome and internet explorer.

I'm running a full virus scan to see if anything's piggybacked my computer but that's an unlikely cause.

I'm still hoping for help.

Alright, so a quick look at this indicates it might be an IP issue? If you have a dynamic IP, the forum might think you're someone else and log you out. Unfortunately, any change to this will have to come from the site admin, and we all know how busy she is.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, if the problem lies with my ISP provider in any way, I definitely won't get a fix from my end.

My ISP is pretty shoddy.
